One of the best documented cases of the effects that goji berries can bring into your life is that of Li Qing Yuen. This man lived from the middle of the 1600s until the early 1900s. Because he took a serving of goji berries once a day, he lived for up to – get this - two hundred years!

The juice is made from the berries, which are grown under the sun and need a lot of watering. It has to be placed in sandy soil and may be able to tolerate some amount of drought after a period of time. It is best to plant them during the spring, a few centimeters under the surface of the soil. Within seven days, you will be able to see the seedlings already. If you notice any wilting, you will have to use a fungicide to stop the problem immediately. It is also recommended that you move the seedlings to an area where there is more light.
