Himalayan Goji Juice - How Much Should I Pay?

AUTHOR: Jan Walton

Himalayan Goji Juice

Himalayan Goji juice promises many real benefits, but is it worth the price? At $40 per bottle, probably not, since you will very likely be able to get the exact same product at a fraction of that price online.

In fact, $40 per bottle quickly became $20 per bottle when sales dipped after the general public realized that many promises of nutritional benefits were overblown. Goji juice marketers were suddenly engaged in cutthroat competition for a piece of the shrinking Goji-drinking market – and eventually the price per bottle dropped to the $8 many Goji-selling websites charge today.

If you are still paying $40 for your monthly bottle of Goji, or worse the $150 some Goji scammers still charge for delivering the product to your doorstep, wake up! Type "Goji juice prices" in your browser to turn up websites that are unashamed to post their retail prices online.

If you research long enough you will notice that websites that charge unreasonable prices for their products have this in common: they will not allow you to immediately access a price list or any tag price of a Goji juice product you wish to buy.

Moreover, they will advertise themselves in area directories as offering wholesale prices and fresh or dried Goji produce, but when you visit their website to make your purchase, you will find that what they are really pushing is a processed Goji juice product with additional ingredients, which may be natural or not.

Himalayan Goji Juice - Where to Get Rock-bottom Prices

The best sources of reasonably priced Goji products are generally the straightforward ones that tell you they sell nutritional supplements, nothing more, nothing less. If you go to exotic websites that cloak Himalayan Goji in mysterious balderdash, you are likely to get scammed.

By the way, do not bother looking for the "Himalayan" Goji. Even if they are produced in Tibet, Mongolia, or a Chinese province, such as Ningxia or Xinjiang, these berries may all be Lycium babrbarum L., which is what Goji (Gou qi zi or Gouqi) is. So, it is best to search for the scientific name Lycium babrbarum or even its Western name, wolfberry.

A random survey of online stores will turn up some that offer the lowest prices for Goji or Lycium barbarum juice. One such website is LuckyVitamin.com, where a 32-ounce bottle sells for $8 to a little over $10, depending on the brand.

Wholesale.ByThePlanet.com and Allvitaminsplus.com, on the other hand, offer a bottle for a little over $8, albeit a 16-ounce one. Lifesvigor.com sells the exact same thing for a bit more at $10.20. But this price is discounted from $14.99, and is still a lot lower than the $40 some stores charge.

If you want to do without shipping costs, you can also try your local herbal grocers. Some may sell Himalayan Goji juice online, although those that do tend to have higher tag prices than online stores that sell nutritional supplements.
